U.S. Commercial Service

The Commercial Service Naples, a division of the U.S. Department of Commerce and the Commercial Service Italy and an integral part of the American Consulate General in Naples, actively promotes U.S. commercial interests in the six regions of southern Italy: Molise, Campania, Calabria, Puglia, Basilicata, Sicily, commonly known as the "Mezzogiorno". This territory covers an area of nearly 35,000 square miles with a population of some 20 million, about one third of Italy's population

Mission and Services

The mission of the Commercial Service Naples is to help American exporters identify and take advantage of business opportunities in the regions of southern Italy. To do this we offer a full range of trade promotion services which are described in the Commercial Service Italy website.

Through the Single Company Promotion program, the Commercial Service is able to offer representation facilities to American exporters and Italian importers for the presentation and promotion of American goods and services. The American Consulate is located in Piazza della Repubblica on the Naples seafront, and offers a prestigious setting for presentations, seminars, and receptions. Included in the Single Company Promotion Service is the right to use the logo of the U.S. Commercial Service on invitations, management of guest list as needed, logistical assistance during the presentation, as well as maintenance of the facilities following the event.
